Bringing you the big-screen cinematic experience
The Oswestry Film Society relaunched in Jan 2023 under new management. We aim to bring you an interesting and varied range of showings across the year and to maintain an independent cinematic and live big-screen film experience for the Oswestry area.
We want the Oswestry Film Society to be something you want to enjoy and support - and that includes having a say in what you'd like to watch and what you think would appeal to our audience.

We also want the OFS to be a hands-on affair and would welcome your help in any number of small ways.

The OFS has evolved over almost a decade into a welcoming and friendly place to come to and watch a film on the big screen and that is our ongoing ethos.

We currently show our films at the Hermon Chapel Arts Centre (Chapel St, Oswestry, SY11 1LF), enjoying their comfy seats plus cafe and bar, whilst looking also at alternative venues.

We are independent from the Hermon, who stage a range of muic and arts events on a full-time basis - check out the separate Hermon Arts website at www.hermon-arts.org.uk

Oswestry Film Society show films weekly, on Wednesday nights.
No membership is needed - we welcome everyone.

Our films are screened at Oswestry's fully-accessible Hermon Chapel Arts Centre, Chapel St, Oswestry SY11 1LF. Doors open at 7pm and the films start at 7.30pm prompt.
