Oswestry Film Society

Showing you the films you never knew you wanted to see.

GREAT NEWS!!  Kinokulture Cinema are planning to re-open on Friday 4th September!

All being well Oswestry Film Society will follow a few weeks after.  More details to follow.

Until then, we hope you continue to enjoy our weekly home viewing recommendations, and we hope to see you all before too long.

To help keep spirits up and help you watch great cinema at home, we're starting a 'Virtual' film club!  Every week we'll be recommending a film you can view for free on normal TV channels, or the catch up services iPlayer or All 4 (Apologies to ITV Hub, you're just too glitchy!).  Films will be announced on the Virtual Film Club Page, via e-mail and on our facebook page.

Thank you for your support, we hope to see you again at some point.

You can sign up to our mailing list via the contact page and we'll let you know when the situation changes.

Oswestry Film Society show films on the first and third Tuesday of each month.

We have three seasons a year and you'll need to keep checking back here to see if the cinema has re-opened and we're starting a new season.

Use the tab or menu box on the header above to see the films showing now in our current season.

Our films are screened at Oswestry's award winning community cinema, Kinokulture. Doors open at 7pm and the films start at 7.30pm.

Anyone can come along and watch our films, you don't have to be a member. As visiting the cinema is currently very different to how it was, we have suspended our usual ticket options and prices and all seats are currently just £5 each.  Find out more about changes at the cinema at our COVID19 and Buy Tickets pages.

Use the tabs or menu box above to find out about the films we are screening, watch trailers, buy a ticket or get more information on where we screen our films.

Oswestry Film Society is a non-profit organisation run by volunteers in partnership with Oswestry's Kinokulture Cinema.  Our income goes into booking films and venue overheads.  We started in October 2015 and screen 3 seasons per year.
